COMMUNICATION POLICY
- Email is a preferred platform for business communications both during and outside of business hours for non-emergency and routine communications. The following caveats apply:
- Email received outside of business hours may not receive a response until the following business day
- Emergencies requiring immediate attention outside of business hours should be notified via phone call
- Phone calls are a preferred platform for business communications both during and outside of business hours. The following caveats apply:
- Emergency calls will receive a prompt response
- Non-emergency phone calls received outside of business hours will receive a response the following business day
- Videoconferences are a preferred platform for business communications during business hours only. The following caveats apply:
- Emergencies requiring immediate attention outside of business hours should be notified via phone call
- Non-routine videoconferences need to be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance
- Text messaging (i.e. texting, iMessage, facebook messenger, iChat, etc…) is not a preferred platform for business communications and is restricted to the following uses:
- Emergencies requiring immediate attention
- Situational agreements pre-arranged with OMG (i.e. client is on location)
- OMG Business Hours are:
- Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Friday: By Appointment
- Saturday and Sunday: Closed
