COMMUNICATION POLICY

 

  1. Email is a preferred platform for business communications both during and outside of business hours for non-emergency and routine communications. The following caveats apply:
    1. Email received outside of business hours may not receive a response until the following business day
    2. Emergencies requiring immediate attention outside of business hours should be notified via phone call
  2. Phone calls are a preferred platform for business communications both during and outside of business hours. The following caveats apply:
    1. Emergency calls will receive a prompt response
    2. Non-emergency phone calls received outside of business hours will receive a response the following business day
  3. Videoconferences are a preferred platform for business communications during business hours only. The following caveats apply:
    1. Emergencies requiring immediate attention outside of business hours should be notified via phone call
    2. Non-routine videoconferences need to be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance
  4. Text messaging (i.e. texting, iMessage, facebook messenger, iChat, etc…) is not a preferred platform for business communications and is restricted to the following uses:
    1. Emergencies requiring immediate attention
    2. Situational agreements pre-arranged with OMG (i.e. client is on location)
  1. OMG Business Hours are:
    1. Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
    2. Friday: By Appointment
    3. Saturday and Sunday: Closed
    4. We honor and follow the Federal Holiday Schedule
