Lean In
Lean in. It’s been quite a week here at OMG Headquarters. I’ve been busy working on leaning in, being present, and keeping the momentum going despite all of the ups and downs that have happened this week.
But first, this week, I seriously can’t even, a client of mine and I decided to part ways, my 20-month-old got kicked out of school, my dog sprained his tail (yup, that’s a thing), and the EA I finally decided to hire took another job. Needless to say, I could have come up with 1000 different excuses why I couldn’t keep my commitments. How I didn’t have the bandwidth to keep moving forward, etc, etc, etc.
Seriously, I could have come up with a LOT of different excuses and some of them would have been completely valid but instead, I decided to lean in. To challenge me to keep my commitments. I didn’t waiver from the commitments that I made and I continued to push forward.
The benefits I have already received are incredible so this challenge that I put on my mindset and my body has already begun to reward me. My old self from a few years ago would have thrown in the towel for the week but the new me doesn’t. So if you are not where you are want to be lean into the things that are challenging you.
