Not All Leads Are Created Equal
Over the past few weeks, the discussion about leads with clients has come up a TON. I have so many clients that want to get as many leads as they can at the lowest cost (who doesn’t?). What I’ve realized throughout my years in business, however, is that it’s not so much about the quantity of the leads but the quality. Tracking high-value leads that are a definite sale is much more rewarding than pulling in a bunch of leads that don’t amount to much of anything.
Whether you’re growing your leads organically or through ads, there is still an investment that is being put in. For organic leads, you may be putting in countless hours expanding your social media following or posting in Facebook groups to find new clients. As far as ads, you may be paying to send them out to your ideal client on platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Both of these ways are costing you, one in time and the other monetarily, so it’s important that you make sure the leads that you’re drawing in are quality leads so that you are not losing money in the long run. Spending two hours getting two leads that are high-value will result in much more success than spending two hours getting low-value leads that don’t turn into sales. Overall, low-cost leads can be great but you have to ensure that they turn into high-quality clients!
