Fear and the Day in the Life Series
When the idea of creating our new Day in the Life series was first brought to my attention, my immediate reaction was fear. Putting myself out there on the internet was always a fear of mine, even when I first started this podcast. Despite being afraid, I’m super happy that I did it because we have gotten a ton of great feedback about how much people have liked the videos! The Day in the Life series was meant to take you behind the scenes of my life being an entrepreneur and mom because juggling the two can get very hectic. I’m so grateful for my team who pushed me to accomplish this goal because I want to make an impact on the lives of other entrepreneurs.
That being said, I’m a naturally introverted person and this was something that really pushed me out of my comfort zone. My fears about being judged or receiving negative feedback could have put a stop to the whole thing, but I worked past them because the positives outweigh the negatives. The chance to make an impact on someone else is worth more to me than my own fears!
As entrepreneurs, we constantly have to push ourselves to move out of our comfort zone and try new things that could further our reach and our business. Whether that be YouTube, a podcast, doing Facebook lives, or even something as small as using social media, it’s important to continue to grow as your business grows. If you are someone who wants a 6 or 7-figure company, change is inevitable and you have to be willing to do the things that no one else is. That’s what makes you stand out! Overall, I’m very happy that I made the decision to move past my fear and really put myself out there on YouTube because this could be the next big thing for my company!
