Email Marketing Is NOT Dead
If you are not nurturing and actively growing your email list, you’re missing out!
Email is just one part of your digital business ecosystem that can take someone who doesn’t know you and turn them into a raving fan. I want to share with you some of the things that I’ve learned from getting really consistent with our email marketing. A few years ago, we were not consistent at all about sending out emails and the change that it’s made in my business is insane. Each week, we now send out a value-driven email, one linking to our newest Youtube video, and occasionally a sales email. It all comes from our macro content, which we take and repurpose so that we can stay consistent and deliver value to our email list.
There are people who send out emails every day, some who do it 2-3 times a week, and others who only send out one. At the bare minimum, you should be emailing your list once a week to keep them engaged in your business. When you do this, you should also be testing out different times, days of the week, and subject lines to figure out what appeals the best to your audience so that you can get the highest open rate possible. For example, in our business, we would send out emails about mindset and alternate with others that are focused on social media marketing. As our email list has grown, we’ve begun to notice that social media marketing based emails were doing significantly better than others! It’s all about tracking your emails so that you can figure out what type of email is best for attracting your ideal client.
I want you to start testing time, subject lines, and conversion rates so that you can understand with great specificity what is working and what isn’t so that you can make data-based decisions on how to move forward.
