I get asked on a regular basis to check out different social media scheduling programs. I recently had the opportunity to check out Rignite and wow was I impressed with the overall experience. Rignite is a new player to the ever growing list of apps that provide Social Media Scheduling.
Let’s start with the different types of accounts Rignite supports. Rignite supports all the usual accounts including, twitter, facebook, linkedin (personal and pages), and google + (with the help of Buffer app) and Instagram (monitoring and commenting). This is pretty typical for most social media management programs on the market.
Rignite was pretty easy to get all my accounts into and get setup. Rignite is a visual program and for me the way the information is represented works really well. When you start scheduling out social media it is put into a traditional looking calendar and it is very easy to see at a glance what is scheduled.
One of the reasons why I really like Rignite and will continue to use it, is the way in which you can select groups of accounts and see everything in one place. While this is similar to Hootsuite feeds, I find the user interface to be much cleaner and easier on the eyes as there is a lot less clutter. For my own company, I can see all the comments and likes in one place without having to swap back and forth between the two.
For me the way in which, you can comment and interact within the instagram world sets Rignite apart. I will keep this program simply for Instagram monitoring. The way in which you can comment back and interact without actually having to be on a phone sets this program apart from all the other programs trying to do instagram. The feeds make it feel like you are actually using instagram and you can interact just as you would on the app. I hope at some point they will add a scheduling feature for the platform but even if they don’t I will still continue to use them for these features.
Rignite campaigns are another great feature for people looking to run contests on facebook, twitter, or instagram. It is super cool because it takes the need to have a second set of campaign software to run the contest everything can be run right within the Rignite program. The features for campaigns are robust and will be perfect for the average person’s social media campaigns.
My suggestion for people looking to do more with instagram and are planning to run contests, Rignite is the program. It takes the pressure off of having to be logged in on multiple devices for instagram and it eliminates the need for a second software solution for contests. Rignite has a great price point and I highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for a social media management program.
