Today I will help you to learn a little bit more about facebook ads and funnels. So funnels, if you don’t know what they are, are basically a sub-page on your website where the person who lands there, only has one option. A lot of times people come to me and they say “I’ve been doing facebook ads for a certain amount of time, I’ve been driving traffic to my website on social media and it’s not working, I’m not getting conversions, I’m getting click-throughs.” Well, you’re paying for traffic that you’re sending to a website where when the person lands there, there’s literally hundreds of options.
If you were running an ad for, say, an opt-in to get a free guide and you send that person to your website and they see an offer about a class or they see some things or learn more about you or they see whatever it could be, then that person gets distracted and then they forgot why they were even on that website in the first place and then doesn’t give you their email address.
One of the things that I highly recommend is you have a funnel in place. A funnel is basically a specific page on your website or on your landing page, like click funnels or lead pages. Funneling software is meant to take clients through a journey so that when you were sending traffic there, the only thing that they can do when they join that funnel or they get to that landing page is whatever action you want them to take.
Something I see all the time is that people run facebook ads to their regular website where there’s thousands of options, you might as well just take some money and throw it down the drain because we live in a super distracted society. One of the things that tends to happen is you end up losing people. There are a couple of steps you can take to avoid this from happening.
- Step one: turn off all your ads. If you don’t have a funnel or a landing page specifically for whatever action it is that you want that person to take.
- Step two: understand what that clients journey i/was like. Why is somebody going to click from the facebook newsfeed and give you their email address.
These steps typically help you to begin the start of your funnel!
When you have systems in place, it’s easy to scale, but nobody talks about simplifying, scaling, streamlining and/or creating systems because that’s not as fun, right? That’s the problem that I can solve. But when I go to present myself in the client journey, I have to present myself as I can get you more leads, and I can help you scale up to six or seven figures. The next step that they’re taking should be where they can go and very simply just give you their email address which will make a world of a difference when it comes through your facebook ads.
For your business, you have to figure out what the clients problem is and how you can solve it for that client. Once you and the client have figured out their problem and how to solve it you have a distraction free funnel! If you don’t have a funnel set up and you’re running facebook ads, turn them off and stop wasting money!
When you send somebody to a website and it’s not optimized for mobile and there’s 17 different menu items in this, it may cause you to lose a client, you only get so many chances at grabbing that clients information. So..
- Step one: get your funnel in place.
- Step two: identify how you’re going to target that person when it comes to your facebook ads or when it comes to your social media strategy.
The problem is most people I speak with don’t have a funnel in place. There are so many ways in which you can create a funnel or lead page!
This week i want you to get started with the funneling process and share how things work out for you!
I’m super appreciative of you! Happy funneling!
