I am going to drop some amazing ninja tips today!
I’m super excited about it because email marketing is one of the necessary evils that you have to tackle in the online world today.
Stop trying to create custom content for every platform. You don’t need to do it.
Focus on creating one really amazing piece of content and amplify the shit out of it!. I use the method of creating a facebook live then turning that into emails, social posts, podcasts etc.
Here’s the deal if you love to write it is possible for you to focus on writing really amazing blog posts that potentially could be turned into a ebook or a downloadable or whatever.
I’m telling you the possibilities are limitless but you have to find a system that works in your business.
Ninja Tip Number 1: Create a system that works for you when it comes to creating emails. Once this system is created and you have a structure for creating content the ideas will start flowing.
Have you ever gotten an email from Gap or JCrew?
They are loaded with beautiful images, right?
All those beautiful images are going to land your email in the promotional folder or EVEN WORSE the SPAM folder.
SO STOP. Do not put images and links to lots of things in your emails.
Learn from me. One link, the same link up to 3 times will keep you in the primary.
But say goodbye to those pictures.
Ninja tip Number 2: Limit your emails to one link used up to three times in the email and avoid images all together.
The last ninja tip is by far one my favorites and I don’t recommend you do this every time if you are sending out two or three emails a week. However if you are sending out one email a week do this every time or choose your favorite email if you are sending out multiple.
So you spent all this time to create this email.
You crafted your message in a meaningful way to your audience and only 10% of the people opened it.
And your are sitting there thinking to yourself, “why am I even doing email marketing?”
I get it! I’ve been there.
And it’s super frustrating.
SO here’s Ninja Tip Number 3: 24 hours after you send your emails go back into your software, make a copy of the email and change the subject line and resend it.
This little ninja move will help increase your open rate by 20%, 30% or maybe even 40% so don’t be afraid to give it a try!
