Beware of the Numbers

For the love of Facebook…just don’t do this! I got an email just the other day from an “online entrepreneur” about a NEW Facebook Like “strategy” (I cringe even typing that word) to grow your online business. After doing some research, I realized there is no “strategy” at all it is essentially just buying likes for your Facebook Page by creating like ads to get everyone in the U.S. to like your page.

WHAT?!?!? Why? Everyone isn’t your ideal client. Oh and remember, Facebook knows the types of people who like to like pages. Yes, that is a thing on Facebook.

The ripple effect of implementing something like that in your business is going to be devastating to your page and your business. All other ad data will be skewed. Beware of the numbers.

Beware of the over-inflated fake numbers. I’m going to make this very clear, you don’t need 100k likes of followers to build your community, to build a business and to grow. You just need true believers.
