Rant Alert: Facebook Business Pages vs Facebook Personal Pages

I’ve been getting asked a lot about Facebook Business Pages vs. Facebook Personal Pages. This is something that I have been torn about for quite some time as my following on my personal page is much larger and more engaged than my business pages.

At my company, we have been testing leveraging my personal page to share valuable information, the podcast and calls to action about getting on the email list. While this is very new and still feels a bit uncomfortable, I believe it to be working. That said, I know to truly build my online business ecosystem I need to get them pixeled either via my website or my Facebook Business Page.

Growing the Facebook Business Page is incredibly important to me and essential in terms of building my online community. I often hear people say Facebook is dead, I assure you it’s not.
