Macro Content Essentials
On this podcast, there has been a lot of focus on both macro and micro content. As I’m sure you’ve heard me discuss before, both types of content are completely different from one another but are equally important to maintain consistent growth. Micro content is your day to day social media posts which have a much shorter shelf life, while macro content is creations like Youtube videos or a podcast that can be continuously promoted (and even turned into micro content when you’re struggling for new ideas).
When focusing on macro content, there are certain essentials that will ensure that you are able to come up with new ideas that are targeting your ideal client. The main point of macro content to keep in mind as you are coming up with ideas is how important it is to teach, not sell. Although we all want to try and increase sales, it’s important with macro content to make sure that you are teaching the consumer something that will make them want to continue following you and learn as much as they can. This is just one example of how macro content can help to move your business forward, the rest of which I break down during this episode.
