Following Your Own Path
Follow your own path. This is something that I look back on when thinking about my journey as an entrepreneur because I’ve learned so much over the years. I’ve hired people to teach and coach me in business and I’ve taken countless courses and joined programs to try and figure out how I could grow and work on myself as an entrepreneur to show up as the best possible version of myself.
A tip that I would give to my younger self would be to take ownership of the decisions in your business, rather than blindly following the advice or path that’s given to you by a coach. When you hire someone to help mentor you and show you how to grow, there will come a point where you will have to make the decision about the direction of your business.
This is where you need to be a leader and make the decisions about what you believe will be the best for your business. It’s important to disconnect your mindset from the education so that you can figure out if what you’re being taught makes the most sense for your business. Follow your own path for your business and be a leader for your company because that path will ultimately lead to success.
