My Daily Routine!
A colleague and friend from high school who has a similar business to mine recently told me that she would love to see my daily routine. Her children are very comparable ages to mine and she was curious about where I spend my time.
There are two different layers to my daily routine – things that I do every day and things that I do based on the day of the week.
When it comes to things that I do daily, I meditate, I stretch, and I read for 20 minutes. This helps me get my head on straight for the day and get focused so that I can show up as the best version of myself. I love waking up early so that I can have almost two full hours to myself before my kids wake up. This time allows me to not only do the things I mentioned but also to get a jump-start on my workday as well. Having time in the morning before any client or team communication can really improve your productivity! I get as many as 3 hours of work done in 1 hour during my time alone in the morning because my work is completely streamlined and focused.
As far as the second layer, those can be broken down by day.
✔ Monday – An internal team day to get ourselves set up for the week.
✔ Tuesday – I’m fully booked with clients from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m.
✔ Wednesday – A completely OMG centered day, where I can work on anything from my group program, to new initiatives for the business.
✔ Thursday – Another front-facing day packed with client meetings.
✔ Friday – Morning full of work, wrapping up any tasks that need to be finished for the week.
✔ Saturday – Relax! Give yourself permission to sleep later and only work if you feel inspired!
✔ Sunday – Spend time planning out what you want to accomplish for the following week.
