Time and Social Media
I recently did a few surveys in some groups that I’m a part of on Facebook because I was curious to find out what was holding everyone back from being consistent with their social media. As you guys probably know if you’ve been following the podcast, consistency has created so much business for me and has really helped to increase my following and my impact. When asked the question, most of the other entrepreneurs in my groups told me that TIME was the #1 reason that they weren’t able to stay consistent. This is both surprising and not surprising to me at the same time. I thought for sure that more people would say overwhelm!
When it comes to finding the time to do social media, the only reason that this would be a challenge is if you don’t have the systems and processes in place to make it quick and easy. A lot of entrepreneurs who aren’t particularly interested in social media do it haphazardly with no strategy behind it because they see it as just another chore to be done. They post occasionally, some of which are “eh” type of posts (you know the kind I’m talking about) and some are inspired and written in a moment of passion. The problem is that when you post with no set strategy behind it, the potential followers have no idea whether or not there will be a point to following you. What does it say to your audience if most of your posts are clearly just created because you feel like you have to post?
I want to share with you my expertise when it comes to creating systems and processes for posting on social media that will allow you to stay consistent and make valuable content across all platforms. If you’re someone who wants to up their social media game without investing a ton of time, this is the episode for you!
