Creating Your Brand through Storytelling with Darlene Hawley
Darlene Hawley was invited to come on to the OMG Show to share her expertise with branding and business clarity. She has been coaching since 2007, working with ambitious, heart-centered, female entrepreneurs who are struggling to build their brand and business. Most of the time, her clients are afraid to share their story in a unique way that helps them to stand out in the online marketplace. She’s all about attracting your ideal client so that you can have more freedom in your business and be able to make an impact.
When she became a coach herself, she struggled with finding her own sense of self and portraying that online. The whole point is not to blend in, but to stand out! It’s all about drawing people into your business with your own personal story and brand. Darlene found that the more she shared her story, the more people were able to relate to her and wanted to work with her. She took this knowledge and was able to form her business, bonding with other single moms who were working in industries where they weren’t able to be home a lot for their children.
Darlene gives us some of her ninja tips for how to get vulnerable with your audience and allow them to really get to know you on a deeper level. She works with many different clients on figuring out what their story is so that they can better communicate it to their potential clients. It all starts with sitting down and writing down everything that’s happened in their lives, especially the things that have made the biggest impacts. Once we have that, we start to connect the events that occurred to the way that it has transformed them as a person and made them better for the experience. Figuring out your brand and how you can share your personal story with your audience can be tricky, so make sure to listen to this episode if you want more advice in this area!
